It's kind of difficult for me to believe, but I think I am falling in love with music even more. It just seems that no matter how much great music I find, there's still tons and tons more, and no matter how much I learn about how music works, there's always things that amaze me.

This music that you are falling in love with, I want more details. Music is such a broad spectrum. Is it polka that you love? Country? The banjo?

Actually, I'm just reffering to music as an entire entity; I'm loving the whole thing that is music.

But specifically, I'm finally acquiring jazz recordings. I have long very much enjoyed jazz that I hear performed live, and I am just now starting to listen to it recorded, and I have loved everything that I have listened to so far (John Coltrame, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, Gordon Goodwin).
I've also been listening to music that I'm not sure what the classifaction is, but I would just call it good rock/pop music (I think it may be called "indie", though I believe that just means that it is not produced by a major label), specifically Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists, The Mountain Goats, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Postal Service.
Then, I'm rediscovering how much I like music by Philip Glass, and I want to get more of it, as well as some John Adams and Steve Reich.
On top of all that, I'm having a growing love for the sound of a piano.
