Just had dinner with Justin. Good to see him, I hadn't really seen him for any length of time since last year. It's actually true. Most vodkas and other spirits do not contain carbs. It's true. Drink away! But alcohol itself needs to be burned off, so I don't think you're off the hook. But it IS better than beer.

LOL! It was the cheesecake factory. I was going to have cheesecake for dessert, but the burger I had SUCKED, so I decided against it.

You've probably seen me, so you know that I don't count carbs. This whole "low-carb" advertising thing just gets my shorts in a wad...and when they advertise that alcohol has "no carbs" and they get away with it, that's when I start wearing the tin-foil hat.

Alcohol is a carbohydrate. It is metabolized differently than sugar and starch, but it is a carbohydrate. These kids today.

And the they had me until they said "alcolhol is not a carbohydrate". It is a compound of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. By definition, a carbohydrate.
