While I knew he had his suspicions, I confirmed cjliotta's contention that I am a big, fat dork. Just had a bass lesson today with Jorge (I think that's his name). Jorge is half my age. Please, I am member in good standing of the Queensryche fan club. I did it to get better tickets to their shows; but every show I have gone to in the last 2 years has been general admission anyway. But I did get a free "Operation: Mindcrime" logo sticker and an autographed photo of the band...with about a 40% of the hair they had back in the day.

What do you think of Velvet Revolver? I love 'em, and it sort of makes me think that Axl Rose just wasn't necessary after about 1989. Although what the hell happened to Matt Sorum? Quite hot in the Cult and G N Fuckin R days, now he just looks like a heroin addict. He's about half his original size. What happened to my Mattie?

Actually, it was a nice conversation and it ended up with us exchanging blog pages. In hindsight, its a wonder I didn't suffer from future shock like I did when I realized Pennsylvania has its web site on its license plates.

Somewhere my life went horribly wrong and I ended up in this dimension.
