Bitter, party of one

Have to go into work today. Bitter.
Got up early this morning so I could get to the dry cleaners by 9:00 in order to get the stuff back the same day. Saw that my driver's side rear tire was flat as a pancake. Bitter.
Tried to go to the gas station a block from my apartment, but failed due to road blocks for Shamrockfest '05. Bitter

I'm sensing a certain...oh, I don't know...what's the word I'm looking for here...bitterness to your post. I may be wrong, but it's just a subtle impression that I picked up on.
