Exactly. I continue to be a registered Republican only so I can vote down the pants-on-head-crazies in primaries. Stupid closed primary state.

I've been registered as an independent for a while. I really wish that as an independent I could pick to vote in either the GOP or Democratic Primaries during an election year. (But only in one of the primaries.)
