So, I'll type up my notes sometime, but right now, I'm just having some major issues with the episode as a whole (for those of you who watched it & are X-Files fans, I'll say one word and see if you agree with me - "Irresistible"). I actually have to use an X-Files icon to sum up my feelings on this one as well.

WTF was that!?

Now, as an MSR fan, I *liked* 'Irresistible'. BUT. Yes, there is a BUT.

BUT.

Scully was NOT Ziva. Scully became pretty bad-ass, but circa 'Irresitible', her actions were in-character.

What we saw tonight was NOT Ziva. I don't know who that chick was, but she was not the Ziva I know and love.

And I'm sorry Z, but yes, Mossad is known for being assains. Obvisoully that is not ALL they do. But the 1st thing an American will think when they hear the word 'Mossad' is 'assain'. You know this. Why the shocked expression?

You took the words right out of my mouth. Seriously. I was thinking about that while I was in the shower, how Scully was only in her 2nd year with the FBI, and this is Ziva's 3rd year with NCIS and like 8th year or something crazy being in some form of "law enforcement." I could see her acting this way when she was first at Mossad, but now? That was totally wtf. I agree.

And I love Irresistible. Freaks me the fuck out, but the hug at the end . . . Ooh. Chills. Such an MSR fan, I am. Plus the episode was better written in general. :p But that's pretty much a given when comparing X-Files to NCIS. Though they're different species of shows, too. I digress.

I think the OOCness was what bothered me so much about the episode. I couldn't put my finger on it at the time, but then people started mentioning it and I was like, "Yeah. That wasn't Ziva." At least she looked like herself again at the end. Still.

It was just a poor ep, any way you looked at it. I was so pumped to get a Ziva-centric ep, and then we get this tripe.

I seriously can not get over the 'WTF'-ness of it. *shakes head*

I didn't know you were a MSR fan, I thought you were Doggett & that chick whos name starts with an 'R' that I can't spell. ;0)

If the "Irresistible" thing has something to do with the fact that the guy playing the cop was also that one psycho killer from XF, then yes, I get it.

Wow, it bothered you that much? I thought it was a really good episode, actually.
