You'll do it, I know you will. Moving into original fiction will be easier than you think because you have templates for good characters already in your head, and because you know all the rudiments of good storytelling.

If you need inspiration or just a laugh, I reccommend taking a peek at Chuck Wendig's stuff on Kindle, or on his blog. His Confessions of a Free-lance Pen Monkey is one of the best books I've ever read about writing. Worth the 2.99, trust me.
