i'm sitting in the quiet that is the vanderbilt fine arts gallery. today a new exhibit opens, and i'm working the opening reception tonight. the exhibit is pretty good...it is an asian artist who has taken digital self-portraits of herself in different stereotypical asian environments...a convenience store, dry cleaners, chinese restaurant...
