I have been listening to some of my old crowded house cd's since they reformed and I came across this song again and it straight away got me thinking about Lee and Kara and I could imagine these lyrics from either one of their point of view. There is also a great cover of this song out there by Brooke Fraser on the album "she will have her way".
I love that album! I have considered vidding to tracks from it a number of times. I had thought of that song as Kara/Lee-ish before, and it's not out of the realms of possibility that I might vid to it one day... if you have any other vid bunnies feel free to share them. I get struck by them nearly daily. ;)

This song has always struck a chord with me and I don't know how I sort of forgot about it for a while. Dou you know that song by Gotye - your hearts a mess? That one always makes me think of Kara. I am going to see Gotye in Melbourne soon. He's playing at the atheneum in August.

Oh, yes I can imagine 'your heart's a mess' for Kara. I hope you enjoy seeing Gotye! I would possibly have gone had I not spent all my money on film festival tix. ;)

Can I ask for some advice? Lunar47 made me a beatiful header for my journal, but I am having trouble installing it. I have a fully paid account and I have tried to follow the custom wizard instructions but I am not having any luck. Do you have any suggestions??

Would be most greatful.

Film festival tix is a solid choice, by the way.

If it's any help the Gotye tix aren't too bad. I got them for $32 by phoning the atheneum directly. The night that had tix left was friday August 10.

Thanks so much for all of your header tips. I am still having trouble, mostly because I can't work out my source code yet. I have flu pretty badly at the moment and I am finding it hard to read/concentrate, but I will persevere. It really is a beatiful header.

I love anything finn brothers. You were so lucky to see them like that. Have you checked out Liam's solo album yet? It's pretty good

I plan to try and post something tomorrow if I finish. Thanks so much for your warm thoughts and most of all for my beautiful header. It looks great doesn't it? I love it! I am so proud! and I didn't even do anything. It wouldn't be there at all but for the talents of yourself, Boppy and Latte.

Hey, re the song, the brooke fraser version is really good.
