I just hope S4 decides to give us more good times and moments, and less angst, denial and misery. It'd be depressing to have spent years watching a show only to have the ship end on a sour note.

Lovely collection of pictures :) I always find it a little odd that people say Lee's so hard to read... but then I say the same about Kara :P

"I always find it a little odd that people say Lee's so hard to read"

Me too. I tend to find him to be so expressive. Jamie Bamber is a gifted performer. I know that I have said it before, but the man can say more with the lift of an eyebrow than Anders X 10.....still, that's my perspective.

I actually find Katee Sackoff to be similarly expressive, but as a character I think she has been easier to ead, because I think the writers find her an easier character to write. Lee is more non verbal, more introverted and against type which I think makes him inherently difficult to write, and it must be hellishly difficult to play.

I couldn't agree more. I am trying so hard to remain spoiler free and keep my hopes up.

Hey, hope your expo thingy goes really well. It's in London?

With any luck, I am hoping to visit next year. There is a world congress of pain in Glasgow, which I hope to get a scholarship to attend. Maybe we could catch up

the first pic? It totally IS love! There is no question. I remember being quite shocked at how much she actually showed. And it really displayed the contrast to how she was with Sam minutes earlier, distant, uncaring, tossing his boots at him, and yet one look at Lee (in a private moment) she melted and softened and simply fell deep into her feelings for him...right up until she caught herself and realised she had no right to love him like that *sniffles* and it also shows that her bravado when actually taunting him into the ring was Kara being 'Starbuck' but the girl looking down on Lee in that pic and the girl holding her fingers to her mouth and giggling in the field - THAT was Kara.

I love all the other pics too! Especially the second from the bottom :)

"the first pic? It totally IS love!"

Isn't she just beautiful in this pic? She just kind of glows. You are so right, it does contrast how she was with Sam. It's only often in these unguarded moments that we get to see just how much Kara does love Lee - wish he got to see them too. Remembering these moments has made me feel positive in my shipperyness again.

"(the woman) taunting him into the ring was Kara being 'Starbuck' but the girl looking down on Lee in that pic ...THAT was Kara"

That is so true...I want to see more of Kara next season.

I loved that scene too. It just clarified everything for me about how Lee felt for Kara..his confusion about himself, his perceived responsibilities, his love for Kara, and above all the grief that he has been unable to really express. I felt that this scene was some of Jamie's best work. His grief *was* palpable and you could see the sudden realisation cross his face as he listened to Romo's words....so desperately sad wasn't it. Poor Lee *hugs him*.

WORD!

I"m with you on all those moments. Every last little one of them. I think my absolute favourite is the second - Home was such an amazing episode. It really showed them as they are, not how screwed up they ended up being.

I'm with Ed too on the ship ending on a sour note. THAT would be just nasty. Putting us all through the crap they did means they deserve to give us something happy for the last season.

Thanks for this - the pics were lovely to see again. :)

"Home was such an amazing episode"

Wasn't it just? I love that shot too. I think it was the first time, in spite of what had happened between Kara and Sam, that I thought "kara really loves Lee"

Hasn't this been a great post to respond to? Thanks to Jo!!Reading and viewing everyones comments/pics has just reaffirmed my (admittedly fluctuating over the hiatus of doom) positivity for Lee and Kara in season 4. It just all seems to be pointing in the right direction doesn't it?

I think I would be quietly devastated if Lee/Kara ended on a sour note.
