I would love to have seen Ray Davies and Paul Weller up close. For personal pervy reasons - they have beautiful faces. I'm surprised all those people turned up to Mojo Awards. I didn't realise how big they were really. I've got a mate whose band made it into the Mojo Top 100 Bands of All Time (or whatever they called it), and I think he was a bit bewildered more than anything, to be honest - to realise they'd ever actually heard of them. But then, maybe there's an Australian version of Mojo. I should know this. Congratulations for progressing beyond wanting to be part of that world. The ones who fell into it, I can understand, but the people vying for it...?

(I'm very comment-heavy on your LJ lately. You keep mentioning musicians I feel passionately about!)

We didn't really see any of those people "up close", but it was exciting enough to just be in the same environment, breathing the same rarefied air that they were breathing.
