I first encountered Jandek back in the mid-90s at one of Kieron's musical evenings. I remember him removing this huge stack of LPs from his shelves and saying "take a look at these & tell me what you think." Unfortunately that's just after I have to pay for Holly to go over to the states, she wants me to go with her, and I also have to pay for a visa if we can get her one. Can't afford trips to That London other than the one we already have booked for the beginning of Sept...

Here's another person who is very, very jealous. I'd love to see Jandek. He's actually going to be playing a few U.S. shows later this year, but none near me. Be sure to tell us all how it goes!

I'll be sure & let you know what happens. I have my doubts myself, and am still more intrigued by his story than in love with his music. But I couldn't resist.
