Of all my guilty pleasures, attending the Beach Boys Stomp annual fanclub convention is one of my guiltiest. This year's event took place -as it always does every damn year- on the same day as open house, the third saturday of september. The unlikely venue -a parish hall in Greenford- is off-the-wall enough, but the day's host is a true one-off. A

Does anyone know if the Convention is runnung this year? The Stomp website is still living in 2005 and the magazine no longer seems to be published.

Hi Mike.
I assume that the convention is happening. But how are we to know?! You're right about Stomp's lower-than-low profile at the moment. I dunno what they're playing at. Still, I'll be there on the third saturday in september no matter what.
