It comes as something of a surprise to me, but I appear to be playing records at this friday's how does it feel to be loved?. Apparently The Legend was scheduled to guest dj, but he's pulled out at the last minute, so Ian has asked me at ultra short notice. Ooh! I might be going to that! Though possibly not til quite late because we're seeing a gig in Brixton first. It'd be nice to hear you play some records again. Any idea what sort of time you'd be on?

Always a mixed compliment to be asked to do things at the last minute, innit? Last time I DJed I was later told that "we asked you because we couldn't think of anyone else who people might have heard of", or something like that. Nice.

According to the website, the club starts at 10, guest dj is from 11-12.30. Just in time to miss the last tube home! Soooper. If you're coming along, let me know & I may be able to bung you on a list of some sort. Would be good to see you.

OMD, though i probably wont be there as I'm skint and need to rest for the gig the next day.

OMD, sadly, is not within the club's near-fascistic remit, which is basically YOUMUSTPLAYBELLEANDSEBASTIANANDSONOFAPREACHERMAN. Won't be playing either of those, obviously, but fitting Romance of The Telescope in between The Bodines and Choo Choo Train may be tricky.

who would ever request NOT to hear a 1/2 hour of the bee-gees??? i've been getting a healthy dose of them for over an hour every night as we usually put on the best ofs 1 & 2 whilst playing cards after dinner. sounds like fun, wish i could be there.

if we ever start that club night at the luminaire ; ) OMD is definitely getting played.
