Remember how much we all enjoyed the Bob-curated vintage pop telly season at the Barbican last summer? Well, he's doing another one, this time themed around fictional portrayals of pop life. with a cameo appearance by brent spiner to boot.

Gosh, two recommendations for The Fabulous Stains! Can't wait. Jumping Bean Bag is definitely worth seeing too, in a low-budget-but-unique-curio kind of way.

i'd recommend 'the fabulous stains' as well, though i don't remember much about it, only liking it. and there is a rather touching punk rock scene that always makes me laugh, but i won't ruin it for you.

yay! for the fabulous stains! i picked up a dodgy DVD of dubious quality a while back, and would love to see it on the big screen. But it's on a school night. And in London. Wonder if anyone would be interested in sticking it on at the Phoenix in Exeter? ha ha.

And Richard Long! yes! i will try and see that exhibit if i get a chance this Saturday.
