Work was scary today... the patients were all huge although the unconscious ones were all right, and I was nearly stepped on several times by some of the doctors.

...I made it through somehow, though. Mostly by spending as much time as possible reorganizing the medical supply rooms instead of interacting with anyone.I-I'm sorry, ( Read more... )

Yes!! I don't know what kind of diets they might have been eating, but they were gigantic.

You weren't giving people heart-attacks again, were you?

No, of course not.

Learned your lesson, huh?

...but you don't need to be all timid. I'm sure you're a great medic.

Um...
I guess!

That's very kind of you, Asano-san. You haven't gotten injured, have you?

Unohana-san wrote a very good list concerning proper safety equipment - perhaps you need some of that to feel safer?

I saw...
I don't think that kind of gear is going to help against a giant, though.

Are you a friend of Unohana-taichou's?

Giants? That sounds horrifying - but protective gear would minimize any potential damage, you realise.

I don't know Unohana-san all that well, but I sought her advice concerning safety tips today. Just to... well.

She seems very knowledgeable. My name is Himemiya Chikane. You are... in some kind of military force then?

That's true...
I don't know of any equipment that would be able to absorb all the force of a huge person who tripped over something and landed on me, though. Especially considering acceleration due to gravity.
At least this way, I can move a bit faster and hopefully get out of the way in time.

Ah, I see! It's nice to meet you, Himemiya-san.
Yes, I'm a member of the supply and relief division of the Gotei 13.

That must have been frightening for you. How large were these people?

Big!! Huge.
One of them had to have been 5'8". Maybe even taller.

AH!
I saw you in the ballet last night, didn't I? It was wonderful!

Oh, that isn't that tall. But you are on the shorter side of the people here, no?

And thank you so much. It warms me to know you enjoyed last night's performance. We work very hard to please our audience.

I'm sure they most of them didn't mean to... they just didn't see me.

They'd have to be over 7 feet tall to try to step on you.
