₪ Title: Sekirei ₪ Medium: Manga, Anime ₪ Description: Minato is a total loser. He's failed to make it into college twice, he's unpopular with women, and he's unemployed. Talk about classic-useless-shounen-harem-male-lead

Yes this manga/anime is ecchi. This might be a turn off to alot of people but let's remember one thing here. Im female. And I love this series.
Yes the women are big busted but to me its not your typical ecchi manga, the lead guy although looks to be a loser, Minato goes against the stereotype and has a lot of very good qualities. The major thing that draws me to this manga is the story, its very well written. The characters all have their own little aspects that make them individuals yet somewhere do seem to stick to the normal harem manga style, the Big sister, the tsundere, the loli but seeing them all interact with Minato and against eachother in the "wife" contest is hilarious

Oh hey, I like Sekirei ♥. I read a bunch of the manga a year or two ago (can't remember how much of it, but it was as much as was available at the time)... I really liked the style of it, the same artist did Sensitive Pornograph so I appreciated that the guys in the series, while vastly outnumbered by the girls in the series, were also almost painfully gorgeous XD
I was pretty excited when I heard the anime was coming out and that Minato was voiced by Tachibana Shinnosuke (one of my favourite voice actors *___*), but it's kind of... well, I've not sat down and watched it all quite yet, but from what I've seen I'm a bit disappointed in the style of the anime, it doesn't really capture how good the manga looks and everybody looks a bit generic-faced and squishy-boobed, you know? Or I thought, anyway. Maybe series two might improve that a bit.
I've been meaning to catch up with the manga for a while, I should go see how far the manga's up to now ♥.
Blah, lack of paid account means I can't edit comments anymore. Anyway, I was also going to say, I liked how Minato's sister also ends up with a Sekirei of her own, too - I just wish that those two showed up more often, though maybe they have in the chapters I've not read yet ♥. Hell, if they had their own series, I'd watch that XD
If you like Yukari and Shiina Id definitely start reading again, Shiina's been playing a pretty big part lately :D
Yeah the animation wasnt always that great XD I never liked how Homaru looked if he was in the background but still I didnt complain too much. Art in manga is definitely better!
Upon reading ch 49 again, I think he IS saying he still has a dong! But thanks to the nigh-unparseable syntax in this scanlation, I am unsure!
WELL I GUESS whatever the plumbing, he's pretty ridiculously hot.
(My fixations for this series seem to be Takami, Karasuba, and Homura. A surly cigarette-smoking lady in a suit and labcoat, an evil, grinning, droopy-eyed bifauxnen, and a cranky pretty-boy loner in a black mask, all of them white-haired. I am entirely too predictable.)
Yeah but with all that's happened recently...I don't know anymore BUT YES HOT!
Homura was the main reason I started reading but when Karasuba-sama was introduced I went batshit, she is so fuckinh cool I can barely wrap my head around it. Plus her seiyuu is Romi Paku!!
