so here's the status as of right now:

my dad said that he overnited a check to me last tuesday. i have received nothing. he failed to return my phone calls for three days and when i finally got ahold of him today seemed totally surprised to hear that i hadn't gotten it yet. this is all quite typical. i went to the post office to see if it had ended up there, no dice. so until i either get that check or get paid (april 10th) i have about $20.

needless to say, i'm seriously hating my dad right now. sorry you're caught in the middle of this, dan.
