It's the time of daffodils and crocuses. My favorite time. I wish I had a yard. If I had a yard, it would really solve all of my problems. I'd be able to plant a garden, which I've never ever done before. I'd be able to get a puppy (or two), which I know is a big responsibility, but I really think I'm ready for it ( Read more... )

I, too, enjoyed this entry a lot (and not just because of the shout-out).

Balanced? I WISH I was balanced! That way, I wouldn't be twisting my ankle so often. :)

Remember about having the yard: yeah, you have more space. But there's stuff to mow, kids to yell at for running through it and leaves to rake.

I'm SO envious that you like your job.. If only I could find comfort in mine

What's this about raking leaves? DRAT! I always forget that part, being from a tropical island where the leaves don't all fall off the trees during the same three-week period in autumn. Hmmm. I still want the yard though, mostly because then I can justify getting a dog. ;)

Glad you enjoyed the entry. Personally, I think I come off sounding like a crack-fiend. But I suppose that's not far from the truth.

I am impressed by your running. At least, at the end of any given empty day, you can say, "Today I ran three miles."

"any given empty day" -- HA! Also, don't be too impressed by my running yet since thus far, it is mostly in my head (having been sick for the better part of the past 2 months).
