June....here and going soon

And the year is ending...very soon! D:
Funny thing, it seems June is my lucky month, I've always had so many great things that happened in the month of June. Even though it's not my birthday month.

Firstly, there's june holidays (a whole month off!) when I was still in school, and it is still holidays in Uni now....

Secondly, before I fell into the KPOP fandom, I used to like this taiwanese boyband, and once they had a private fanmeeting in Singapore, and to win tickets you had to email your name and tel. number and the members themselves will pick your name on national tv, AND MY BIAS PICKED MY NAME. LOLLLLLLLLLLLL. Seriously went mad...that was on 8th June, so from then on I decided that date was my lucky day each year.

Thirdly, TVXQ. Before the split, I last saw them as five on stage in June 2009, at the Mirotic concert in Bangkok. Nowadays I see JYJ more often as compared to the other two, and seriously I didnt have a chance to really look at Homin after they split. And at Mirotic concert, the last time I saw five of them together, I vividly remember Yunho waving and looking at each and every one of our faces (could literally see his eyes moving from one to another), and I'm glad I got to see him clearly. No idea if I have the chance to in future well..................
And the funny thing is, we didnt plan to watch them initially cos we just came back from Bangkok in Feburary for SMTown 08, so it seems ridiculous (to me) to go to the same country again in 4 months (?!), but last minute, I decided with my friends that we should go, and it was really a last minute thing because we decided 3 weeks before the concert that we'd want to go -_- Braving the H1N1 frenzy, my parents worried that I might get H1N1 there and spread it to them when i'm back, the few cases of TVXQ fans contracting H1N1 too..............that was one of the craziest moments of my life. haha!

Fourthly, was in june 2010. I went to Korea for the second time with my friends; and this time I could read Korean. The first time I went to Korea, I couldn't even read hangul. lol. And so, I came across a board outside hottracks myeongdong (it's gone now ;A;) that there was a CNBLUE Fansign session coming up in a few days, and so WE WENT FOR IT. Besides TVXQ, Cnblue was my favourite kpop artiste because I really love the happy music they make, its so light hearted and happy-go-lucky it'll chase away whatever blues you have! Anyway so we went, and I had so much fun. Yonghwa called my name and smiled while signing (we could write our name for them to sign on a post-it paper that staff provided), and I remember Jongshin saying they'll go to singapore (at that time there wasn't news about them coming), and all. I wrote a fan account on it, so I shall not digress here. LOL. Oh and then we also found out that there was a 4 Minute fansign coming up too, so we went for that as well.

And..............................June 2010 was also the first time I met with Junsu's father and mother. We were lucky to have met both of them. Seriously. I dont know why we were that lucky for this trip. We met both of them. Got them to sign on everything LOL. (Okay I brought Junho's and Junsu's jap single for them to sign), took polaroids with them, asked them to sign as well, and Junsu's father signed on my Junho board. Well and then we chatted awhile, I remember they were bickering about how near Malaysia was from Singapore hahahaha and his mother also taught us Korean. I also wrote a fan account on that somewhere, I shall not digress. LOL.

Fifth, was last year's June. I got to watch JYJ in Busan, and MOZART! Ever since being a kpop fan, it was always my wish to watch tvxq's korean concert, because i've heard so much about how amazing Korean cassiopeia were. Although they've split, I still got to watch JYJ's concert (omg...my nice korean friends who went 0230923 extra miles to help me to get tickets, even though they couldn't watch the concert), and really, theres this special bond between JYJ and the Korean fans, that something international fans would never find. Hmmmm maybe because they speak the same language.

And Mozart! Never in my life did I ever imagine I could one day watch Junsu's musicals, but I did. And I watched his first encore performance on 17th. And again on the 22nd, with a VIP seat. See what I mean that June's my month?

And of course, June also marks my anniversary with Tohosomnia. I don't think I'm known in the fandom since I don't exactly make any fandom friends besides tohosomnia staffs, cos I dont really like smallricee to be made known so my name probably only appears at  translated articles I've done (which is really a pathetic amount so........lol), if I could I wish I don't have to credit myself, but that's impossible because if anything is wrong with the article i've translated, at least people will know who to find lol. The fandom is getting crazy, and joining Tohosomnia made me realise, there's alot of crazy stans that are ruining the fandom. I remember sometimes when I read mentions to Tohosomnia, I'd see mentions criticising us (well nowadays i dont see them anymore thank god), and people questioning if we're an OT5 site.

OT5? What is OT5? Supporting the previous TVXQ with 5 people? Or supporting JYJ AND the CURRENT TVXQ? I have no idea............

But one of the things I really appreciate is when fans thank you for the translations and stuff...its really nice when people appreciate what you do, even if it's just a simple thank you. Hehehehe. Just saying. I have to say thank you to people more often too, at that.

Oh man I digressed. This is supposed to be a June issue post. LOL. Okay so this year June, I haven't gotten any nice things yet. Xia Tarantallegra concert in bangkok should have been brought forward a week later so I could label it as one of my lucky june events I've had. hahaha. But yes, continuing from my previous ranting post, I went for Xia Tarantallegra 1st asia tour concert in Bangkok last month. Totally worth it, well and okay I was the one who did the live updates at Tohosomnia. LOL. Its amazing because up till then I still couldn't remember song names in his solo album, I had to confirm with my friend beside me before tweeting. And she's a jae fan. LOL. (well she mixed laden tree and even if you know up, but that's fine because EIYK is my fav song in the album and I definitely can differentiate them LOL)

So with just a few days to the end of June 2012, I'm already wondering what june 2013 has installed for me. I hope it's a rerun of Elisabeth musical like they had it for Mozart last year! I need to watch that! ^^;;;;;;;;
