HELP!! I've been looking for hotels in New york and everything is 300 and up. I almost booked at this place West Inn and when I read reviews on it, they said it was cockroach infested. I don't know where to look. I can't afford 300 a night for just a weekend! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK

Do you have to be in Manhattan? First time I visited NYC I was on a really tight budget and I stayed at a place in...erm...Brooklyn, I think. It's a family run place with theme rooms. Was clean and cheap and very friendly. I haven't been there in 5-6 years, so I can't vouch for it now but it was called Awesome Bed&Breakfast.

No, it doesn't have to be in Manhattan, but I even looked at places in Brooklyn and those were booked and stuff. I will look into that one. It's reasonable. I just gotta see what my friend says.
