Story Summary: In Mortal, Lex sends meteor mutants to Clark's home to get proof of his abilities. The plan backfires because all of Clark's abilities are gone. Clark's family and Lana are all placed in danger. Is a happily ever after possible for these two after something like that??

A/N: This story begins towards the end of the second episode of season five - Mortal. Clark has gone to confront Lex about the meteor mutants he sent to the farm. In the episode, Lex punches Clark making him bleed (because his powers have been stripped by Jor-El if you don't remember). Clark asks, "Satisfied?" In the episode, the scene ends there. In my story the scene continues and is completely AU after that. The initial idea came from
christina_kat . She'd always wanted to read a scene of angry sex between Clark and Lex after that line, so I wrote it for her. Then I started to wonder if I could get them to a happy ending from there. That's when the story grew, and I decided it would be long enough for it to be my SVBB entry.
