I was supposed to spend this weekend in Vegas with Brian and Anthony and Ian (friends who also live in Ann Arbor), Jess (who currently lives in Denver), and Jerry (who currently lives in Chinle, Arizona). I thought you had to be told if you were on "standby." It almost sounds like Spirit is operating on a first-come, first-served basis.

I took Spirit once to Florida, and the trip back was delayed 6 hours. I got a free flight voucher out that, and used it to go to Colorado. But I haven't used them since, because they are definitely a low-rent operation. Even before the Florida trip, I had taken them and realized how crap they were. I'm continually surprised they're still in business.
