Level 10 Films, an independent company, recently completed shooting for a documentary on gamers. The gamers featured ranged from card-based, to table-top, to live action. They seemed to really want to give it a fair look.

They have postd a teaser trailer, which plays in Quicktime.

These guys supposedly came out of their own accord. I just happened to have volunteered for staff that day.

My guess is that you went to rob Sci Fi City of their Magic The Gathering cards. Your disguise was a pair of white tights on your head (filled with the Magic cards, as seen post robbery in the film), and you wore chainmail just in case you were shot.

Or maybe you were wearing an empty sausage casing on your head to attract buzzards? Though, if this was the case, next time I'd suggest eye protection.
