Oh, I'm sure it can be disabled. I just hate that I have no choice but to get it, and hen only if I pay for enough things I don't want to classify as a different category of user.

Srsly. I have big, fleshy fingers, and touchpads like to jump when I use them. Plus, I can never point to the pixel I want, which is annoying with the increasing number of stupid things that require you to use a slider bar instead of a more precise input. It's just... bleh.

I know - I'm just annoyed that I have to have this waste of space built-in, AND I have to pay more for things I don't want to classify as the kind of user who should have the option of getting the pointstick. I could get a machine that does as much of what I want for almost $500 less, if I didn't want to be able to use the pointer with precision...

And it seems that none of the pointsick keyboards include the numpad, to add insult to injury. So I can have one "power-user" option, or the other, but not both...

Desktop requires too much space and tethers me a bit too much. I'd consider some kind of netbook-desktop-remote-administration solution... but it still leaves me in XY Locator Hell. Might as well shell out for Lenovo, really... seems increasingly like that's my best solution.

Also, hi! You still have a login here!
