In which our intrepid cook boldly goes where he has, in fact gone before. In multiple ways. Tonights dish features no meat, and is built around a need to cook up eggplant. I... I'm not sure I understand the question. ;)

Although, for the record, except what's posted in FiitoK, I don't "have" recipes in general. ragnvaeig has tons of recipes, and lots of cookbooks, in which I will look if referenced. Otherwise, they are big, forbidding tomes of arcane lore, not unlike the Necronomicon.

I generally have a vague grasp of what's in the fridge and an internet connection.

Frankly, I don't even know what you build a vegetarian meal up around.

It's not so different from any other meal. Veg, protein, usually a starch. The protein seems to throw people off, but soy, beans, nuts, quinoa, and whole grains are good protein sources. And if you eat eggs and dairy, it's even easier.

This recipe looks good! I might try baking the eggplant and drizzling with oil instead of frying, because it does absorb oil like crazy!
