Daley won the mayoral election. Media reports only a 30% voter turnout, that's pathetic and annoying. It's amazing how much people complain about the CTA, traffic, the public school system, yet allow Daley to win. Let's not forget the hired truck scandal and tearing up Meig's field in the middle of the night....makes me wonder what he'd have to ( Read more... )

the CTA blue line used be super reliable... now the the trains don't even keep up with customer demand. It takes over an hour for me to get to school each day. The tracks are rotted between Division and Grand stops so the trains have a 6-15 mph speed limit since CTA won't appropriate the $100 million needed to fix the entire blue line.
