Purebloods strike back.

It seems that its beginning in earnest now. I sometimes don't know what to think. That Meadowes bitch. She made me realise that there's no turning back now. There's no way to go but forward. Anything else would make you first on the wanted list on both sides.

Regulus. I feel like he's not telling me something. But I trust him to notify me if it's ( Read more... )

That was not my intention. But we must not allow them to ride on the top of our heads. We cannot allow them to get the upper hand. It would require a lot to gain back our advantage now should we lose it.

Absolutely. By the way, that was brilliance. Absolute brilliance.

But the plan. We should get to work. You got the potions, I presume? How high up do you think we should start?

And the bigger question, which policies? Should we start off with something simple like 'education institutions outside of the official remit of the Ministry of Magic are to apply to the Ministry for licences, and will only be given on the basis of them meeting standards of exceptional educational and academic merit'. I.e. if they're teaching people stuff that is a perfectly legitimate extention of Hogwarts teaching. Rather than teaching squibs to beat someone up.

Thank you.

I do have them. You can trust me to complete my assignments.

That's a possible one. However, I was thinking of something else. Something that permits the joining of this group called the Order. We must enforce the idea that they are the ones stirring up trouble and they are the ones trying to use the confusion now to off purebloods. This way, with the Ministry on our side (half of them are pureblood cowards sitting on the sidelines) it'll be much easier to deal with the radicals against us.

It's not that I didn't trust you. I more didn't trust panicky, small foreign Ministrys.

Hmm. To do that, we would have to get the Minister herself in our...control, if you will. She'd block that. It would prove difficult, but do able. Absolutely doable.

We can discredit her, if all else fails. Having most of the Wizengamot in our pocket helps things too. We don't have to be blatant about it. Something that prohibits the forming of Secret Societies perhaps?
