Here's a link with info about Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) which is what Gina had.  My vet said that they've seen 4x the number of cases in 2007 than in the last five years combined and that it seems to be more frequent with cats that were strays or came from a shelter.

I'm sorry we didn't meet up this weekend! I got into austin a lot later than expected. We will definitely have to see each other around graduation. Also, I know nothing about London but I feel that you'll have an excellent time.
