I was driving home from Oxford on Saturday and I was listening to NPR and they were doing an interview with a guy who plays the vibraphone, and he played a little bit, and the songs were just GORGEOUS, and anyway, it made me think of you. And then you posted, so now I get to comment and tell you that!
I, too, recently lost my grandfather (a little over a year ago); it seems like so many of us have. I'm so sorry to hear that he passed away before you had a chance to see him. At least you'll have your memories of him before he was sick, and your last memories of him won't be when he was ill.
Good luck with your studies (what major are you considering changing to?) and congratulations on your internship in D.C.! I hope you have a great summer. :)
