I'm deeply saddened by the decline of LJ. Of my 40 something friends, 6ish update on regular basis, where as in the olden days missing a couple days of updates on the friends page could make for an entire weekend of great reading. I suppose with myspace now ruling the world my old friend LJ is just slowly falling by the wayside. And...Twitter?

but you would have to be careful. you're not afraid to rip on athletes who perform poorly, which i don't have a problem with... as long as it's not the cowboys, but you could very easily piss a shit-ton of people off who read it.\
all i'm saying is it could be harder than you think. i say go for it.
