I'm deeply saddened by the decline of LJ. Of my 40 something friends, 6ish update on regular basis, where as in the olden days missing a couple days of updates on the friends page could make for an entire weekend of great reading. I suppose with myspace now ruling the world my old friend LJ is just slowly falling by the wayside. And...Twitter? ( Read more... )

dude, i would totally read that shit. i would imagine that it would be fun,
but you would have to be careful. you're not afraid to rip on athletes who perform poorly, which i don't have a problem with... as long as it's not the cowboys, but you could very easily piss a shit-ton of people off who read it.\
all i'm saying is it could be harder than you think. i say go for it.

i'm not around those parts anymore. i'm in austin now. hit me up if you ever head this direction.

i just now occurred to me... you know another jared, and you might not even be talking to me. i feel kind of stupid.

also, twitter completely ruined LJ for me.
the only friends i have that post anymore, now post with twitter.
i fish through the bullshit every day looking for a charlie hearne solid-gold post.
you're the only reason i still look at this site anymore.
