She hadn’t meant to start an affair.

And she had to keep reminding herself that it wasn’t an affair. She wasn’t Alex. She was Emily. And Emily didn’t love Olivia. She couldn’t love Olivia. Could she?

She arched her neck back as Jason kissed his way down it. She whimpered softly for his benefit as his hands began to wander.

She was lonely. All she wanted was tenderness, affection.

She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to remember dark brown eyes. Her mind forced the lips, the hands against her skin to soften.

She heard Olivia’s voice murmuring sweet nothings.

Jason didn’t notice the tears slipping silently down her cheeks. She bit her lip, stopping the name that threatened to fall from her lips.

She wanted to scream, cry, shout that name if only to make Olivia feel closer to her.

Instead, she forced the thoughts from her mind and pushed Emily to the surface. Emily could learn to like Jason because Emily didn’t know anyone named Olivia.
