Not that I really get the whole drinking lots of alcohol thing (it's a depressant so consuming a lot just sounds like a really bad idea, not to mention poisoning your liver and what not) - but if she's going to encourage you she should deal with the consequences

Exactly. I really don't get it. But she got up so apparently I was supposed to be able to too even though my tolerance is lower and she's got 20 years on me.

There is no way me and my awkward self are gonna be able to sit her down to have a chat. Not happening.

As for my uncle, the way he said it was more to basically try and prove that what I thought were anxiety attacks actually weren't, as if I was some kind of liar or something or WANTED to be messed up. So I just didn't tell him because I wasn't going to put myself through that for his bullshit.

He's doing better as far as I know. He's just hit a minor rough patch but at least he's working shit out.
