Who: You! What: Cherry Blossom Festival When: March 27-28th. Where: All over town. Wherever you find a cherry tree. Rating: Who knows how across the board this'll be <8|
What a pretty sight all of this was. Only once or twice a year would you ever find cherry blossoms, right? So Tails obviously was going to take a day off to see the sights. Ah, what a day!
He walked along the area, watching others have fun, and it made him grin even wider. The fact that everyone was enjoying this day only made him happier. No antagonistic things were happening, and everyone was at peace. It was almost like being on his island and watching the others doing things that made them happy.
And then he came across who he recognized as Voile. Dancing. He didn't want to interrupt her, so he stood by a tree, watching her from afar. While it might've been rude to not say anything, Tails was no less than fixated on the dance. It was a little entrancing, and he thought she was quite the dancer.
Plus, he figured it was even ruder to make her trip up if he called out to her or tried to walk up to her.
That was perfection. Silence aside from all that was natural, and the thoughts centered within her mind. What would it be like if she became human? Could she dance then, too? Could she dance with him? Could she stand on those two legs, walk over to him, take him by the hands, and brush her cheek against his? Every time she considered things like that, Voile disappointed herself. She was better than that, wasn't she
( ... )
He continued to watch her dance until she stopped unexpectedly, and she was coming his way. Well, hiding behind a tree was probably not the best thing to be doing when someone was coming your way and you didn't really want to hide from them.
Tails stepped away from the tree, showing that he was still in fox form, and waved. "Hi, Voile. I didn't mess you up, did I? You were dancing really well, and I thought I'd watch. ... Err, hope you were okay with that. I didn't want to interrupt you."
She slipped her hands behind and was wordless as she closed the distance between them. Her steps were careful, well thought out before executed, and a small smile played upon her lips, though she did her best to contain it. Then she stopped a few feet away and leaned over with an expectant look.
"No. You didn't. I didn't realise anyone would be watching. I was just caught by surprise a little. That's all." She finally let her mouth curl into a brighter expression and chuckled, "You should have interrupted me before instead of letting me make a fool out of myself."
She reached forward and gently caressed one of his ears, as though to reassure him. "Thank you. Dancing is something I'm very passionate about. I'm not doing it right if people can't feel my emotions when I do it."
Then she hung back and fiddled with some of her hair. Well, the leafy sort of hair, "Some people paint. Some people draw. Some people write. Some people sing. I just happen to dance."
