And here came the greeting everyone would be familiar with very, very soon at this school. "Hiiii~!" Along came a Mint, waving at Voile as the human-Chikorita came around.

"Say, what's wrong?"

Was... Voile the only one of her kind who hadn't taken on a human form? Once again, she felt a suspicious sinking in the pit of her stomach. Mint sure was cute, though. What would she look like as a human? Would she be small and wiry? Would she be awkward and disproportionate? That concerned her too much and she had a difficult time admitting there was vanity controlling her.

Her posture straightened and she folded her hands together, "Oh, Mint... You look so pretty. Are you enjoying yourself?"

"I am, yes!" She said, smiling brightly. "But shouldn't you be too, Voile? You don't look like you're having fun." She tilted her head slightly. Maybe Voile had someone come with her and they left her there? Or maybe she still felt like she didn't belong...? These thoughts bounced around in her head, but her smile never faded. After all, smiling is contagious, right?

"It isn't like I'm not."

She didn't really know how to defend herself with that. Mint had pretty much cornered her and Voile wasn't particularly fond of lying to people. Instead, she glanced around absentmindedly.

"I just wanted to make sure everyone else was okay. I didn't say how long I would be staying. I came to make sure things turned out the way they were supposed to." It wasn't an obligation, really. It was what she'd wanted to do.

"I think everyone's enjoying themselves too!" said Mint, looking at the punch bowl. "But there's so much more to do here! I don't know how to do most of it, chiiii~..."

"Well, shouldn't you do what you want to do? Budget your time wisely and go spend time with those you want to. I don't know..." Voile tipped her head to the side, "Spend ten minutes here, ten minutes there... You understand what I mean? That way there's no favourtism and equal treatment for everyone."

"Well... I dunno! It's kind of hard to be everywhere at once, y'know?" Mint contemplated what Voile said. "But I wanna spend time with you right now! Is that okay?"

"Well, that's why I'm saying take the time to say hello to everyone. It's not possible for anyone to be in more than one place at a time. I can't even do it, and I can do some pretty amazing things."

She smiled kindly and ruffled Mint's hair, "You can spend as much time with me as you'd like."

"Okay! I'd love to spend time with you!" she almost repeated, giggling a bit with the ruffling she was receiving. "So how have you been?"

"I would say I am very much the same as ever. I spend a good deal of my time studying," Voile admitted with a tilt of the head. "Perhaps I spend too much time doing that. Now with summer here, I'm not too sure what to do with myself."

Then a thought came to her, "Maybe I'll take summer classes if they're provided." Could she last an entire summer without going through ethic lectures with Cyrus? Hmmm. "What do you intend to do for the break?" she suddenly asked.
