Ah, Saturday. It was the last one before school started up again, and with only a few fluffy clouds dotting the sky, and the birds singing happily up in the treetops, and the sun not too hot, it was the perfect day for hiking! Though normally there were probably a few parties on the mountain on the weekends, today there was only two people traversing the landscape: a man and young lady traveling the south slope at a gradual incline, with a pesky Murkrow that seemed content to leave them behind and dive-bomb pidgeys.
'The Road goes ever on and on. Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can...' Giovanni stopped quietly singing to breathe deep of the air as a fresh breeze came up, and grinned, "Smell that fresh, mountain air! The scent of the trees and the nearby stream! Ah, so much cleaner than the city, too." He flipped out his pocket watch, the sunlight catching the flourishes on top and bouncing off, as he turned to Voile, "and we're making good time, too. A third of the way up, and it's barely noon. At this rate, we shall make the peak ere sunset. How are you feeling, Ms. Voile? I hope I'm not pushing you too hard."
