[Back in the ol' classroom. There were new students this year... Would they prove to be any more "talented" than his previous students? Looks like it was time to see.]
I know many of you were in my class last year, but for the new students, we will be going over the basics of form shading like we did last year.
[He points to his easel, where a diagram has been set up.]
Newbies, I want you to draw me various shapes and shade them correctly to where you put the light source. My second years may do this as well or... if you would like a bit of a challenge to show me what you've learned...
[He hangs up a poster paper of various sketches up on the chalk board]
You may pose your mannequins in whatever pose you like and draw them as such. Just remember to shade them correctly.
