All the same, it was a little strange, especially considering she had a date with Sonny coming up in a couple of days. Oh, well. Maybe she'd learn something. So after taking a seat, she lifted her menu, and began to read - a bit weary that nothing was priced. She hoped she wouldn't wind up overeating. And washing dishes forever.

As he got closer to the table, he got a better look at the person at the table. Oh! His date was a woman this time! That was much better than the person who had met last time. Not only that, but she was very beautiful, too! If she was just as friendly as she was beautiful, maybe this date would turn out better than last time!
"Hello! My name's Luigi! I-I guess I'm your blind date," Luigi greeted Viole, as he sat down across from her.

"Ohhh, it's very nice to meet you." He seemed so flustered and she hadn't even done anything. Was he always like that? Or maybe she was just really intimidating or something. "My name is Voile. Please, make yourself comfortable."
Okay. Perhaps this wouldn't be so terrible, after all.

He had never been on an actual date that hadn't turned into an absolute disaster, so he was a bit nervous.

And that was a guess, because most of Voile's time was spent with her nose in books. Apparently the Gardevoir wasn't capable of dividing her time as well as she should have been.

"Are you a student, too?"

Voile thought she'd seen someone who looked a bit like him. Well, almost identical really. She hadn't spoken with the other one, however, only noticed him. It was a shame that Luigi had been left behind, though.
She nodded, "Yes. I believe they refer to me as a 'senior', though I really don't understand how their schooling system works. I wasn't involved in any such thing back home."

Of course, this left Luigi trying to remember which grade level he was at. He didn't really keep track of how long he had been at the school...

She had no plans of returning to Lilycove for an extended period of time, after all.
"What grade are you in?" she asked as she leaned over. She settled her chin in the palm of her hand with a smile.

Luigi thought for a bit longer. Let's see... The year he joined the school was... Hm... So that meant... "I've been here for 2 years, I think! I wonder what that makes me..."

She imagined she could crawl around in his head, but she was still training herself not to do that automatically. Things were so much more interesting when people took the time to learn about each other. She had no reason that she needed to cheat to get information out of the kind boy.

Luigi sat up straight in his chair, so that he was no longer leaning on the table. "Oh! I'm 18!"
He was glad that his date was such a nice person. Things seemed to be going pretty well so far. It wasn't nearly as scary as last time, and that wasn't just because he had gained experience from last time. His previous date was kind of intimidating!

So they were the same. She smiled a little, more for herself than the situation, though the predicament wasn't bad at all. There were too many other people who she probably wouldn't have liked being with. Well, not that she disliked anyone. Just that... There were some who made her uncomfortable.
"I am as well. As of this year. But I was a junior last year. I am a senior this year." But maybe she'd said that already. In fact, she probably had.

Voile had always assumed it to simply be a number, but then humans had such an odd way of considering and analysing everything. It couldn't hurt to learn something new and she had the distinct impression that Luigi could easily explain himself if he wanted to.
