Sonny didn't so much mind all the loud people. Some of his favorite people were loud people - and LOOK! Vinnie and Sasha and Dana were all here!

"Oh! You were right, this WAS a good idea!" he said, looking around. There was some food scent in the air and he could see large bowls of peanuts being passed up and down the bar, along with jars of pickles and pickled eggs. Oh boy!

He'd never drunk anything in his life before either and had no real intentions of it. Apparently people drank to feel happy. Well, he was already happy, and even happier still because of the green haired beauty attatched to his arm.

He thought it was a good idea. She was second guessing her... so-called 'good ideas'. But she knew very well with him there, nothing was going to get out of hand. The ideas that he was so securing made her nestle in even closer to him with a bright smile.

"It looks like some of your family is here. And there's some food... And... lots of drinks. I think the notice said there wasn't an additional charge, so you can probably eat to your heart's content."

Maybe. If someone didn't stop him before he got to that point. But if someone did, it wasn't going to be her. His eating habits didn't bother her in the least. As long as he was taking good care of himself, that was all she cared about, really.

Such a simple creature, really.

He was not a complex man by any stretch of the imagination.

"I'm glad they don't charge for the nuts and stuff. I'm a little peckish."

Which by most people's standards meant he was starving.

He walked her over to a stool and pulled it out for her. "Let's see what they have to drink that isn't alchohol."

She reluctantly released his arm and carefully took a seat with the slightest blush kissing her cheeks. "Do they have milkshakes?"

She reached over to pull a stool closer to hers. Of course she wanted him to sit closer to her. It was natural to want to be near to the people you cared about most and he certainly had become someone she spent a good deal of time thinking about.

"I don't know. Oh! They DO have Tea. I know you like Tea, right? It's special tea, it says it comes from a place called... Long Island."

He looked at the list of things he could order a little more closely.

"Oh! They do have Milkshakes. And soda. They have Apple Soda! Green apple, it says. Oh! And strawberry soda! I think that's my mind made up!"

She blinked and she looked at the menu as she huddled up next to him. Okay. So maybe she liked the idea of being affectionate with him. A little. Or maybe she'd never had anyone she could do that with before. As far as she knew, it was all in innocence - no matter how anyone else viewed it.

"Long Island Iced Tea," she repeated, after giving apple soda a thought. Because really, she loved anything apple. But she also really liked tea. Which would she prefer, however? "Uhm. I don't know what to get..."

Her chin tipped up and she eyed him, "What are you getting? Maybe I should get whatever it is you want."

He huddled a little closer to her too, slipping an arm over her shoulder as they both looked at the same meu card.

"Well, I'm going to get a strawberry soda. I do love a strawberry soda on the rocks. You're not such a big fan of the sodas though, huh? You could try one of the milkshakes? They have banana? Do you like banana?"

His free hand snaked down the bar, grabbing for the peanut bowl.

Oh. He was putting his arm around her. That was new. And welcome. But new. Her gaze shifted onto his arm briefly and then she looked back up to him. "On the rocks?"

No. She didn't get it. And then...

"You know, I actually don't have much in the way of human food and drink. I mean. Apples aside and other fruits and vegetables." But she could eat those as a Gardevoir, too. Come to think of it, there didn't seem to be a very big difference between the two forms. "May I have a strawberry milkshake?"

No. She didn't know why she was asking permission either.

"I don't see why you couldn't. Hey Guy!" he called to the nearest server who didn't look like he was doing much of anything.

"I'd like a large strawberry soda with ice, and she'd like a Strawberry milkshake. Oh, and is there a stray jar of pickles back there that you could put out? I see one down there but it's almost empty... I really like pickles. They're Dills, right?"

The server got all that down and dissapeared to get drinks and pickles.

"Awesome. I love Dills."

She snorted and reached up with her left hand to tap Sonny upon the tip of his nose. "Sheesh, you're so cute."

But she was learning stuff. He liked pickles. Well. Dill pickles. Those were pretty good. Sweet pickles were a little too much for her, but...

"I like bread and butter pickles." Hooray for pointless information, right?

"I like those too! On bread and butter, with a little salt and pepper? Mmmm... sooo goood!"

His stomach let out a gurgle.

Luckily enough, the drinks and pickles were easy enough to prepare so didn't take long to arrive. Sonny's hand twitched a little, but he slid Voile's drink to her first, and then the pickle jar.

"Here you go! You get first pick. See that guy on the left there?" he pointed to the biggest pickle in the jar. "You should get that one!"

Actually... Bread and butter pickles were just a special recipe. They were in more than just vinegar. They were in apple cider vinegar and stuff like that. In fact, they were a bit special and she enjoyed that. They were their own little unique group.

When he started pointing out pickles to her, she chuckled. "Why don't you pick one for us to share? Or do you really need me to pick first? I would rather share." And if that wasn't good enough, she batted her eyelashes at him affectionately.

"Share? Oh, OK!" he said, reaching into the jar and picking out that same pickle he'd previously motioned to. It was definitely the biggest in the jar and his mouth was watering just looking at it's green, bumpy skin and the dribbes of brine running down it's sides. Oooh dang he was hungry.

"First bite!" he said, offering it to her. "Or we could just break it in half? However you want to do it!"

There we go.

Slowly, she was getting accustomed to the affection in public. Before she'd been afraid of members of his team seeing them like that, but she was getting more used to it. And no one seemed to be having problems with it. And if they were, they hadn't said anything and they probably should have.

She beamed happily at him, "I'll take a bite! Just a tiny one, though." Then she opened her mouth. Yes. She wanted him to feed her.

He laughed - oh! How adorable!

He titled his hand forward and pressed it extremely gently against her open lips. He didn't want to smush it against her too hard or anything so his movements were just a little timid.

"Here you go! Nom-nom!" he chuckled, waiting for her to take a bite so he could have his turn. His stomach mumbled again.

And surely she did take a very small bite. Well, dainty. Small and dainty, which was to be expected coming from her. She was gentle around the edges, no points at all, except the odd wing-like pieces that protruded from her head.

As she chewed, she settled a hand over her lips and then she smiled grandly. "Okay! That was all I wanted. You may have the rest, Sonny."
