Who: Halloweenies (that's you).
What: A fabulous masquerade ball.
When: Monday, October 31st (that's Halloween). The deep, dark hours of the night (that's like eight PM onward).
Where: The Stadium.
Warnings: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN ON HALLOWEEN

So. Much. Candy.

After an incredibly successful and rewarding trick-or-treat session with a gigantic group of friends, Gold had sprinted up to his dorm with Lucas to change. Out of his Cyndaquil costume and into a rather nondescript outfit, complete with a plain, gold mask. The pair of trainers made their way into the stadium, Gold first.

Unable to mask his excitement, Gold smiled. There were so many people. Most of whom he couldn't recognize... This was gonna be fun as heck.

Um, yeah. So much candy that they were probably going to take FOREVER to sift through.

But that candy business was over for now! They got an amazing haul and had a great time being absolute nerds. When they made their way back to the dorm, yadda yada. Lucas actually sprang to do something a little bit different. After they were both settled into their outfits, off they went to the stadium. Right after Gold entered, Lucas wandered on in and also could not contain the sheer excitement on his face. This was so exciting, and this was the first masquerade Lucas was attending!

He glanced at his partner in crime with such a cheesy looking grin, then back out at the crowd. Half of them he had no clue who they were, but it'd probably be for the better. "This is going to be so fun."

So much candy that they were gonna get so so fat and even fatter than, like, the fattest guy in history.

But of course that was over now. Of course. Gold didn't have any candy shoved in his pocket. Are you crazy? Okay. Well. Maybe just a small handful of his favorite chocolates... BUT ANYWAY. Gold admired Lucas' mask for the millionth time already and nodded.

"I don't even know what I'm supposed to do, but I'm really excited," he admitted. He attempted to lead Lucas over to a better place to stand than the doorway to the stadium.

Lyra, weren't you totally just out trick-or-treating with these guys?

Yeah, totally. But there was no way Lyra would ever miss a chance to dress up!!!!! Of course, this outfit was super lazy vaguely Feraligatr-esque, so it was kind of reminiscent of her earlier Feraligatr costume... but she had her hair down instead of in pigtails. That clearly made her impossible to recognize. Honest. She was totally gonna fool those two mysterious boys. (Gosh, she hoped they were somebody cute.)

"...Is that a Turtwig mask?"

Okay, she already had a theory as to who that one was.

SO FAT also Lyra seriously, what. Where did you go when we disbanded? I thought you were going back to the boy's dorm or something ahah........

"I don't know, either, but I'm super excited as well!" He replied right back to Gold. His mask was so cool, he couldn't help but almost want to pull it off and look at it again, but nope he knew he couldn't do that! Lucas totally had about twenty jolly ranchers in his pocket, by the by.

Just as they began wandering over to mingle away from the doorway, up came Lyra! She certainly had an important question for Lucas, and of course he was going to answer it. "You're absolutely correct about my mask."

Gosh, who was this mysterious mystery girl who we are so unsure of who she is? Hmmmmmmm.....

Actually, Gold didn't recognize Lyra at all. With her hair down and a mask on, the trainer was pretty stumped. When she spoke, however, he had a pretty good idea that it was definitely her. They had JUST been trick-or-treating together after all...

"Isn't it cool?" Gold butted into their conversation to ask Lyra.

Well, if this was Lucas, then it followed that the guy with him was clearly Gold. They seemed like they were pretty good bros.

"The coolest!" It seemed they were all in consensus on this point. "Where'd you even get a Turtwig mask? Did they have other ones? I thought maybe I'd try making a Feraligatr mask, but it turns out that it's really hard to make that sort of thing and not have it... look like some kid made it."
