What: A fabulous masquerade ball.
When: Monday, October 31st (that's Halloween). The deep, dark hours of the night (that's like eight PM onward).

Marie wasn't having a good time. Mostly because he hadn't been able to find his girlfriend yet, no matter how hard he tried. At some point, he started to worry about whether she was there or not. The idea that he was there without her was troubling to him ( ... )

Spinny thought doing people-watching as one of her favorite pass-time, she'd have a better chance at guessing who was who under all the costumes and masks... But she was having such a hard time, that when someone came up to her to take a look at her, she couldn't do much but try to edge away from the stranger. When she heard the other's voice, though, she took a good moment to stare at the other.

"...Marie?" She asked, tilting her head to the side as she curiously look at his blond hair. "...Blond hair..."

As soon as she opened her mouth to say his name, Marie knew he'd guessed right. He smiled to himself and inched a little closer to the pretty spider. And... now that he was able to get a good look at her, she really did look pretty. Although he liked the red, purple was a nice shade on her, too. Once he was finished mentally gushing, his smile became sheepish.

"Yeah, I dunno. Arceus said some Pokemon might become fully human tonight or whatever..." He paused for a moment, finally making solid eye contact with Spinny. "Does it look bad?" he asked, quietly.

"Oh..." Spinny replied, smiling a bit. "It looks...nice..."

She still preferred the usual blue hair Marie had, but it was a nice change for the occasion. That aside, with Marie at her side Spinny felt much more at ease and not so intimidated by everything.

"Did you...come early...?" She then asked.

Marie was feeling a lot better having found Spinny, too. Finding Dana was nice and everything, but he had been really bothered by not being able to find Spinny. His relief showed on his still-sheepish smile.

"Oh... not really. Did you just get here? I was looking for you earlier," he admitted.

Good thing Spinny hadn't seen you talking to Dana before, otherwise she may have been a little upset about it.

"I got here... not...too long ago..." She replied, fumbling around with her hands. She had been around for a little while, but it was difficult to move around without getting so scared by all the ~*~mysterious~*~ masked people. Now that she knew who this not-so-mysterious person was, she was starting think they should do more than just stand and talk...

Only if she knew how to bring it up.

The Squirtle didn't really know how dances worked. There were a fair amount of people dancing, but most people seemed to be doing their own thing. He wondered if she was feeling too nervous to dance. He wondered if he was too nervous to dance, and if he should even ask at all...

"That's cool," he mumbled quietly in reply. After giving it another thought, he asked, "Did you want to dance or something? I mean... we don't have to, but if you want to..."

No going back now!

"Dance..." She thought about it; was she brave enough to dance? But she wasn't alone if she was going to dance with Marie... And then the thought of dancing with the Squirtle started making her face turn red with the blush.

"O...kay..." She said with a small nod, hoping that the blush was hidden away by the mask. "Let's...try...dancing..."
