OPERATION: AIGLOO.

First, Ai toed a large circle in the snow, in an area of the quad that had not yet been trampled by any feet. This is where Ai would build her igloo

Fortunately, Nabooru was happening along. She'd sort of been all over the place, honestly. Talking to various people. Trying to avoid various things. Stirring up various conflicts. And so on and so forth. She'd spent so long outside thus far in her search for Ai that she'd pretty much forgotten how cold it was. Or perhaps it was more accurate to say that her body had forgotten to register temperature, which probably meant she was going to freeze to death - or she was more resilient than she'd anticipated.

Ai's igloo was... something else. Nabooru didn't actually know what an igloo was and the first thing she thought of was a house. But it looked a little too odd to be anything like that. Odd, a little cute, and... completely and utterly foreign. But maybe what made it so cute was Ai standing next to it. She raised an eyebrow and stopped by the Pikmin girl in all of her glory. A hand lowered and settled fingertips into purple hair.

"So is this your pride and joy?" she asked as she looked over the igloo thoughtfully.

Ai looked up, startled at first, when she felt something touch her. But her momentary surprise quickly dissolved and she beamed up at Nabooru. She nodded excitedly, looking back at the funny-shaped, little igloo.

"Yes! I built this all by myself!" she exclaimed. She was pretty excited about it.

"Built all by yourself," Nabooru parroted.

She looked down to Ai with a bit of a smile and ruffled her hair. "So you'll have to tell me a little bit more about this. I don't know anything about igloos. What exactly is this?" Then she moved over to the igloo, leaned over, and she rubbed gently at the ice, but was careful not to break anything.

"Mmmmhm," Ai hummed happily.

She reached up, gently grabbing Nabooru's hand for a brief second. She couldn't get rid of the huge smile off her face. When Nabooru asked her to explain the igloo, her smile widened even more. "Oh, alright! It's an igloo! They are houses you build out of the snow. For protection." She paused, smiling, a little confused. "From... the snow!"

There was a pause when Ai took her hand. Nabooru honestly felt like a part of her had been jostled awake, which she hadn't expected. She pushed it aside to the best of her ability, however, and focused her attention back onto Ai.

"Houses that protect you from the snow. But all houses protect you from the snow. So what makes these ones any better than the houses in the town?" She lightly squeezed Ai's hand, amused by the girl's explanation, and curious as to where she'd take things next.

And then Skull Kid pelted Ai with a snowball and ran away giggling.
