Even lower lows...

So a girl who is apparently a heavy church-goer, doesn't drink or anything, and desperate for a relationship turned me down tonight! Woo, yeah, failure at its finest. But really, I'm okay with it... she wasn't THAT good-looking and I've been sort of eying this girl at the bookstore lately. She's one of those intense, independent, rough-and- ( Read more... )

You know dude, that's fine.

I think one thing I've realized is that if someone says 'no' to you, it could be for any number of reasons, so it is best to not over-analyze things.

Maybe she has dated guys like you and she knows it won't work out, maybe she didn't like the shirt you were wearing, maybe she's just all talk and not really desperate. There could be so many factors, it is just best to say, "See ya" and try for something else.

Also, if you want a heavy church goer who doesn't drink, make sure you go to church and don't drink. :)

Yeah, I'm totally okay with it. Mostly because I DON'T want a heavy church-goer who doesn't drink.

Besides, to be honest, I just thought I'd give it a shot because I don't really ask enough girls out as it is. I've become extremely laid back in this arena, and just don't care either way anymore. The last four years have taught me to be okay with myself regardless of what happens.

I think it's because she is scared of your awesomeness.
Plus she is a girl so she will lie by default. She doesn't go to church that often and is an alcoholic.
But, my mentality on women might possibly explain why I am still single.

I share a similar mentality. It's difficult to retain any other view, when the most of what I've observed and experienced was based on lies.
