Lately I've been avoiding my introspective tendencies...and this probably isn't the best thing to do, but alas, I don't care enough right now...for now I must conquer the world through civilization four.
Introspection has a way of leading to morbid self-fascination. As one who struggles with depression and too much introspection, I think your vacation from that can only be a good thing. Life can be lived outside the inner workings of one's own mind!
Remember, Narcissus was too enamored of looking at himself. He missed the beautiful Echo's attentions as a result.
