Well I'm officially in the hospital now for my 6 weekish stay. So far I've been here for a bit over 24 hours and they've monitored the babies 3 times and things look good. I get an ultrasound about every 3 days to check them as well. Otherwise it's been pretty uneventful. I had tons of paperwork to fill out yesterday and talked to just about ( Read more... )

My nephew was born at 33 weeks, and he was never even on a ventilator--I think his total NICU time was 17 days, and that was because he wasn't gaining weight. He turned one back in November and had a blast smashing cake everywhere and laughing up a storm. :)

Since I have some idea how restless high-risk pregnancy bedrest and the following NICU time can be, I'll definitely keep you and the girls in my prayers!
