Hey sorry I haven't been on LJ lately and didn't see this :/ How are things going now? I think you should just find people who are in the same situation as you - as in, they already have instruments, know how to play, and are ready to be in a band. Maybe you should just try out for an already established band? I don't know if there is a musician's classified or something around there. Usually they will list what ages they are okay with... you'd probably want to play with people between 16-20. Don't mention that you know LuckScum Records or have EVL ONE or anything at first because you don't want people only wanting to be in a band with you for those reasons.
