A few months ago, I was trying to put together a new philosophy about helping other people, specifically close friends and family members. I remember telling my dad at the time that I didn't think it was a good idea to really try to help them unless they knew they needed your help enough to ask. But I forgot about that, and maybe that's a problem

Hey Peggy. I've noticed throughout life that a lot of people are ungrateful, especially if they are already used to getting things from you or receiving gifts. But, the true gift of giving is in the giving itself, and once it's out of your hands, the "karma" is passed out into the universe
