I totally noticed the Rupert thing! I wondered if it was just a coincidence or a nod to Rupert Grint. I think it's the latter, that is wayyy to random of a name to just stick in there like that.
I think you're right about Snape. I'm still not fond of him, but I think it's very likely that he and Dumbledore had planned this. I mean how could Dumbledore just die like that? You know?
By the way did you ever get the bracelet? When I sent it, they said it would get there in four days but who knows.
LOL sweetie you must've missed the post where I said I received the bracelet, thanked you, and dedicated the D/Hr soundtrack I made to you! :D In fact, the bracelet got to me faster than 4 days...only 3, I think. I remember being so surprised to have received it so fast!
And as for the Snape thing, yes, Dumbledore doesn't just die like that, at the hands of a mere double-agent potions master. Not unless he was willing. Not that Dumby wanted to die, but you know what I mean.
OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T SEE THAT! I totally saw the soundtrack post, but I somehow missed that it was dedicated to me. I feel like such an idiot. Doh. But thanks, I'm glad you got it alright. I'm so sorry.
Yes, TOTALLY. To be honest, I don't understand why certain ppl have left the ship after HBP...to me, because of the new insight into Draco's character, I feel as though JKR had actually boosted our ship, making it more plausible. Not in canon, of course, but later on, after R/Hr inevitable fizzles out (some time post-Hogwarts).
Lol I couldn't get the book out of my mind! Seriously, I was just so absorbed with the whole Snape-Dumbledore-Draco fiasco, trying to find the real reason for it. It's just way too easy to believe Snape is pure evil. And plus, if he really were, and intended to betray the Order, t's not JK's style to drop such a bomb on us in only the second chapter. Such plot twists only appear towards the end of her books - so this must mean that in the 7th book, she'll twist the plot again and reveal Snape's true intentions. At least, that's what I hope.
Oh yes, R.A.B. It seems as though almost everyone is convinced that R.A.B. stands for Regulus A. Black, and many have tied that rather convincingly with Mundungus stealing Black silverware. I didn't mention this theory because I have no proof either way and am not completely certain it is Regulus, though it does make intriguing sense

Your sentiments echo mine exactly, even if you are more elouquent, heheh! ;D] I came up with the exact same reasons why Snape did what he did, and felt the exact same way about the Malfoy family. Well, as they say, great mind think alike! =P
By the way, in my copy of HBP, Slughorn mistakenly refers to Ron as 'Ralph', not 'Rupert'. Do you think there's a difference between the UK and US editions? O_o
Yup, great minds (d/hr shipping ones in particular *winks*) sure do! :D
I don't think the versions should be that different; my guess is that since Slughorn mistakens Ron's name multiple times, you might've missed the time he called him "Rupert".
I have to go back and leaf through the book to find the chappie where that happens, and then I'll let you know so you can check your edition :)

But what about Regulus Black? Sirius's younger brother who was murdered by Voldemort
and *gasp* I've always harbored a soft spot for Ginny/Tom fics, and the horcruxes would be so much fun to play with!
