While heading out to get breakfast and run some errands today, I slipped on a stone while cutting through the park, twisted my ankle and skid a little ways downhill. Owie! That truly sucks and I hope your arm/elbow is feeling better soon.

As for the coat, you may actually have luck this time of year with places trying to get rid of inventory they don't want to keep over the summer to sell next fall. Stuff will go on crazy sale. That's how I got my nifty pleather jacket for 5 bucks instead of 35 it originally cost. So it might be worth poking around online to see if sales are going on and where.

There may be people clearancing winter coats still so you may be able to find a nice one for cheap yet.
