Kushiel's Justice
Another wonderful book in the series. This one follows Kushiel's Scion, and continues Imriel's story through life.
It's mostly a coming-of-age sort of novel. But better. And Imriel's old habits that made a lot of people angry at him are changed, so now he's a pretty cool character.

Equus
Equus, by Peter Shaffer, is a play about a crazy boy who stabs out the eyes of some horses.
And then the ensuing craziness that invades the psychiatrist's mind as he attempts to treat the boy.
And oh, it is so full of crazy and intensity, it's amazing. On the same level as House of Leaves, only much, much shorter. And a play, instead of a book.

Hamlet

Anyway, Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, is kind of an interesting play. It's a tragedy, so pretty much everyone dies, and there are some infuriating moments where Hamlet is a whiny person who does nothing, and then Shakespeare is hard to read...

The Pact
The Pact by Jodi Picoult is quite possibly the sadest book ever.
But, it is also probably the best book ever.
It's about the suicide of a girl, possibly at the hands of her best friend, and boyfriend. And the ensuing trial and the families' struggle.

Kushiel's Scion
This is the beginning of (hopefully) the next trilogy, following the "Kushiel's Dart" one. It was very good, but had a different main character in it, making the overall feel of the story change from an epic story to that of a....coming of age story ( Read more... ) -
